Cook Along video series: watch the Toddler Menu Planner in action

Do you find meal planning stressful? Catch up with our very first Instagram Cook Along video series!

Paediatric Dietitian and Forum member Lucy Upton invites all parents for a Cook Along on her Instagram profile, @childrensdietitian, where she shares helpful tips on toddler meal planning, fussy eating and responsive feeding, answering some of the questions she gets asked more often by parents.

She used the recipes and tips from our Toddler Menu Planner, a resource co-created with parents for parents to make meal planning easy and ensure toddlers receive a balanced diet every day.

In this cook along video series, Lucy cooked a breakfast, a light meal, a family meal and snacks, demonstrating how easily our Toddler Menu Planner provides all the nutrients needed in a healthy diet throughout a day.

We have learnt a lot from the previous lockdown and have seen how easy it is to slip into bad habits. A report by the Guy’s and St Thomas’s Charity and the Bite Back 2030 healthy eating charity describes snacking as the “biggest negative consequence” in eating habits during the pandemic, with a 40% increase in snacks.

Don’t miss this opportunity to discover new recipes and top tips to make mealtimes a more relaxed and happy occasion for the whole family! Make sure to follow Lucy and the Infant & Toddler Forum on Instagram and get your copy of the Toddler Menu Planner to cook along with Lucy!
